This 4" x 5" illustration is inspired by the stunning production of Hadestown on Broadway. The full lyric by Anaïs Mitchell reads (in describing Orpheus) - "He could make you see how the world could be in spite of the way that it is." Original costumes are designed by Michael Krass. In this drawing, Charlie plays Orpheus and Teddy Jr. takes on the role of Persephone.
