This 5" x 7" illustration is inspired by Celie's eleven o'clock number "I'm Here" from the musical version of The Color Purple. The 2015 revival, directed by John Doyle, featured the Broadway debut of the phenomenal Cynthia Erivo (though let us never forget LaChanze, who created the role in 2005). Costumes for the 2015 production were designed by Ann Hould-Ward.

This is a print of one of my hand drawn illustrations. It comes unframed.

Which Paper should I pick?

  • Archival Matte Paper

    I love the Archival Matte Paper because it has a neutral white, smooth surface that's ideal for art prints. It is acid free and is a heavy weight paper (230 g, 9.5-mil).

  • Premium Giclee - Bright White

    A slightly more expensive option, the Premium Giclee paper is wonderful because the paper has a toothy,texturedquality to it, which gives the appearance that the print was actually drawn on this paper. It is a thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) matte finish with a textured watercolor feel.
